For those who don't mind pushing a lil paper, the 2010 Whiskey Off Road snail mail registration form is now live. To get in on this fine Prescott mountain bike gathering scheduled for April 24th, click here, download the form, print it out, cut the check and pop it in the mail with a postal stamp in the upper 90.

Judging from the flow of registration thus far, this year's event is very likely to reach capacity before event weekend. If you want in, there is no better time than now. Click here to register.

Official Host Hotels of the Whiskey - Spring Hill Suites and Residence Inn by Marriott

Epic Rides welcomes the Spring Hill Suites and Residence Inn by Marriott as the Official Host Hotels of the 2010 Whiskey Off Road!

The Spring Hill Suites is located in downtown Prescott, approximately 4 blocks from the Whiskey Off Road Starting Line. Studio Suites cater to participant's individual needs by providing a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, sink, sitting area and work area.

A Little Ditty About Prescott, Did Ya Know?

Prescott is home to the historical area known as "Whiskey Row" (thus, the Whiskey Off Road). In 1900, a great fire destroyed most of the buildings on Whiskey Row. As legend has it, the patrons of the various bars simply took their drinks across the street to the Courthouse square and watched it burn. At the time of the fire, the entire bar and back-bar of the Palace Hotel was removed to the square by the patrons as the fire approached. As you can see, the patrons of then and mountain bikers of now probably had a lot in common.
