What a great weekend! The weather was perfect and many riders came out to enjoy the great riding in Temecual, California. We heard many rave reviews about the course and conditions, and it was largely due to all of the volunteers who have been coming out and building new singletrack.

This being said, there is still a need for more great trails and with this rain there is no better time to start but now. I am tentatively planning on trail work for 3 p.m. next Wednesday afternoon (February 11), meeting at the start/finish area at the go-kart track. We will work a new trail that will open up a few more options!
During the dirt crit the band covered Sonic Youth, as well as their own music.
The weather is once again looking to be great for the next race on February 14. With the way the rain is coming down right now, the trails will have phenomenal dirt. Spring Challenge Race #2 will again be a stage race like the last event, but with slight modifications to the schedule. For one we will move the Dirt Crit up and start it half an hour earlier. We have also changed the Super D classes to make racing fairer for the appropriate level of the rider.
