In its second year, the Pro Gravity Tour has positioned itself as the premiere downhill and gated racing (4-Cross and dual slalom) circuit in the United States. The five-stop Pro GRT puts the sport’s top riders head-to-head on world-class downhill terrain across the country. The third race in the series takes place this weekend at the Northstar Resort in Truckee, California.



In addition to the top American riders in attendance, reigning Downhill World Champion Steve Peat (Santa Cruz Syndicate), and his teammate and current World Cup Downhill points leader Greg Minnaar will join the likes of former U.S. National Champion Duncan Riffle (Giant), former New Zealand National Champion Kieran Bennett (DRD Tomac) and current Pro GRT Downhill points leader Bryn Atkinson (Transition Racing) on the technical Northstar terrain.

Headlining for the women’s field will be Olympian Jill Kintner (Transition Racing), reigning U.S. National downhill champion Melissa Buhl (KHS), former junior World Champion Kathy Pruitt (Jamis) and mountain bike racing legend Leigh Donovan (Intense).

In addition the racing action, on Saturday night check out the “Follow Me” movie premiere at TC’s Pub in the Northstar Village. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the movie starts: 7:00 p.m. There is a $10 cover at the door, which includes a raffle ticket. Drink specials are also available.
