Stages Cycling have partnered with Scott‐3 Rox as the team’s official power meter supplier. The sponsorship puts the entire team on Stages Power meters for all 2013 training and racing endeavors.
“We are looking forward to this partnership with Stages Cycling,” said Kyle Douglas, the founder/manager of Scott-‐3 Rox. “The units offer the team advantage while training and racing — it allows every rider to have detailed information without sacrificing any weight or performance.”
Scott-‐3 Rox will take on the 2013 World Cup schedule with the Stages Power Shimano XTR model. They’ll also have the Stages Power Dura-Ace road models available for training and cyclocross.
“No matter what your training philosophy is, it is essential to be able to quantify your performance accurately,” said Geoff Kabush, Scott-‐3 Rox team member. “In cycling power measurement is an incredibly valuable training tool to target workouts, gauge progress, and track load.”
These Stages Power meters allow the Scott‐3 Rox athletes to capture power data, when racing and training, without compromise to the performance of their bikes’ drivetrains or by adding undue weight to the bike.
For the 2013 season Scott‐3 Rox team has stepped up to the international plate as a UCI Elite Trade Team registered, one of only three co-ed Elite programs based on the North American continent.
