SoCal Development Camp June 24-28
The NorCal High School Cycling League has hosted week long summer
camps for many years. Venues have included Lake Tahoe and UC Santa Cruz
and attendees have come from not only NorCal but from SoCal. Now, for
the first time ever, the SoCal High School Cycling League will be
hosting its own week long summer development camp in the pine covered
hills surrounding Lake Arrowhead!
What is summer development camp? It's a chance for any SoCal League
rider who has completed at least one season of racing to spend time with
riders, coaches, and special guests "developing" a well rounded view on
the sport of mountain biking through a week of skill building, fitness
building, seminars, and FUN!
The venue is the Arrowhead Ranch
where riders will be staying in cabins chaperoned by experienced League
coaches. Riders will get a healthy daily dose of riding that will
include views of the lake, laps on the Pinnacles course (last used for
SoCal Finals in 2012), and maybe even a trek to one of the best malt
shops on planet earth. Riders will have food prepared for them on site
and evening roundtables on planning a season long training schedule, the
building of the new IMBA Epic Skyline Trail, and a cycling industry
Both overnight and day camping options are available but we need to
hear from you ASAP! We need to get number to the Ranch by June 1st! So

We hope to see you there!
