Every race at Southridge Park in Fontana, CA tells a story. Check out the Top 10 downhill riders: Eric Carter. Need we say more? It was the fresh GT rider’s second downhill and 4-Cross weekend sweep in as just as many tries. Waylon Smith took second, very closely followed by a rejuvenated David Klaassen Van Oorschot.

David K is always on form

For 2009, the U.S. National 4-Cross Champ Rich Houseman has a deal with Intense. The ever calm Rich still finds time to run Team Houseman 4-Cross Clinics Saturday morning. What about 21-year-old Jon Buckell in fifth? Then we have post On Any Sunday’s Joe Lawwill just off the podium in sixth. The day prior to the downhill the Bikeskills.com professor almost won the stacked Cross-Country Expert 35-42 class. Saint George, UT’s Logan Binggeli is back again this year. The 20-year-old is another one of Team KHS’ blazing fast stars-to-be. Speaking of KHS, what about KHS and Free Agent Team Director Quinton Spaulding? At 41 years young, Quinton can still throw down in the pro division. Then we have Kevin Aiello. He is a proven performer at Southridge, and his ninth place finish over the weekend is a fluke. Kevin is Eric Carter’s GT teammate. In tenth we have another fresh face. To race Southridge Jason Memmelaar traveled 3500 miles from Chester, NY.

Logan Bingelli (KHS) is another out-of-state rider who knows he has to ride
the Shimano Winter Series if he wants to stay competitive on the U.S. gravity circuit.
