2 for 2: Intense's Chris Kovarik (Aus) has been unbeatable. The World's competitor bested Norba 4X Champ Eric Carter (Mongoose) by 1 second.
 

The Champ: U.S. DS and Norba DH & 4X Champion Melissa Buhl (KHS) loves Southridge. Her winning women run was the 21st best Pro time.
 

Norba #5: Cody Warren's (C Dub Racing) 2:28.00 was less than exciting. Cody is recovering from a hard training crash one month prior.
 

"Bad": With absolutely no morning practice, Joe Lawwill's "courtesy" run netted a 2:19.95 and unofficial the 5th fastest time of the day.
 
Rain was the best thing that could have happened leading up to Southridge Racing Club's 2nd 2008 Winter Series event. Fontana's indigenous decomposed granite soil quickly absorbed the water, and spring to life with incredible traction. The turnout was absolutely huge, with more and more names coming out to get early practice for the Norba opener in March.
 
Former Masters Downhill World Champion and budding photographer Joe Lawwill had this to say, "Shooting the course all day Saturday and most of Sunday, I was overwhelmed by how sweet the conditions were. I just had to give the camera a rest and throw down a timed run."
