Lea Davison, shown here in Sun Valley, Idaho, finished 11th in the
Olympics in London in 2012. She had previously won the short track
mountain biking national title in the U.S. in 2011. Lea grew up in
Vermont, where she attended Middlebury College. Besides excelling
academically, she was also a top athlete in both skiing and cross-
country running. She focused her athletic efforts into mountain
bike racing in 2005, the same year she graduated from college.
