Canadian Steve Smith had his best year ever in 2012. He took second
(above) in the World Cup downhill at Windham, New York; dominated the
downhill racing at Crankworx, winning three of the biggest events; 
took the bronze medal at the World Championships; and took his first-
ever World Cup downhill win at the series finale in Norway. Smith is
clearly on a roll. Will he rise to the top in 2013? We'll find out next year.
