We pulled this shot from the 2010 files for today's "Photo of the Day." 
This is definitely not the way you want to take a challenging drop
during a downhill race at Northstar-at-Tahoe. Just the same, this
might be better than what would have happened otherwise; riders
usually have a good reason for ditching their bikes in mid-air. Still, 
it would have been a lot better if his right foot had unclipped from
the pedal.
