We recently caught up with Niner for the unveiling of their new Jet 9 RDO, which represents the first carbon full-suspension bike in their big wheel lineup. Judging by the looks of it, we having a feeling this bike is going to be a huge hit amongst racers and 29er enthusiasts alike.

The Jet 9 RDO utilizes 100mm of their patented CVA suspension linkage, which Niner claims will remain efficient regardless of chainring selection. The frame is compatible with both 100-120mm tapered forks, giving you the option to run it as a race rig or trail bike.

A direct mount front derailleur is used to ensure smooth shifting up front. The Jet 9 RDO also features internal derailleur cable routing to minimize clutter. The claimed weight for a small frame is 5.1lbs.

The Jet 9 RDO frame retails for $2599 and is backed by a 5 year warranty. We can wait to get one of these in the hands of the wrecking crew to see what the hype is all about. You can find more info on it by clicking here.
