Mountain Bike Action Report: Interbike Day 4

Another day in the big hall of everything bicycle. Here's a teaser of what caught our eye:

Mountain Bike Pioneer Joe Breezer's "Series one" - Serial number 01. Rumored to be the very first purpose built mountain bike ever produced.

Spanish manufacture Catlike is a big player overseas and has seen some popularity on the XC/Road side state side with the Whisper helmet. They were showing this full face helmet which is in the approval process for import into the US. The helmet was very light and had razor sharp graphics some we could show, some we better not.

Focus introduced a carbon 29'er to sit atop their current 2 bike Black Forest aluminum framed series

(Old is new) IRC's new 29'er tubeless-ready Mytho SXC looked to be destined to be player in the hard packed cross-country race arena.

Not sure too many people ran across this mini velodrome as it was tucked in the far far corner of expo however, when we stumbled upon on it no other then Dave Zabriskie and George Hincapie looked to be contemplating a roll around.

It doesn't take long when running through the smaller booths to find a character. In this particular instance it was Keith from a brand called Pivothead that makes an equally offbeat pair of video camera equipped sunglasses.
