Andi Wittmann & Guido Tschuggenhütte are finally in the Himalayas - and with their bikes on Indian soil .
Arne deer from the Red Bull Bike channel faces the adventure of his life . This is the story behind the filming of the first episode .
The end of June , meeting point: Munich Airport . The photographer Carlos Blanchard, filmmaker Martin Hanisch, the two bike aces Andi Wittmann and Guido and I Tschuggenhütte .
The following 60 hours are entertaining, exciting and bring us pretty much on our borders . The flight to New Delhi - done. Meet
Vinay Menon, the at least one semi- professional mountain bikers , and
Vineet Sharma, the founder of the first MTB magazine of India and leader
on our trip and get to know - done.
Then the journey from New Delhi to Solang with a stopover in Chandigarh to meet the entire bike scene - all four at once . After 24 uncomfortable hours we reach the winter sports capital of India . We sleep a whole three hours, then build our bikes together and ride with one of the two Indian gondola up the mountain .
The gondola is fairly new, a French manufacturer . But around the gondola station nothing reminiscent of a modern French ski resort. A tandem paraglider flies across the crowd , looking for the collection of antiquated equipment immediately after a new victim. Inflated balloon with people innendrin rush down the mountains - at full speed into the crowds of Indian tourists.
On our way up we admire the view of some six thousand meters high mountains - and find ourselves on a three-thousand . This is only the beginning of an incredible freeride trips, high up in the Indian Himalayas .
