In another act of great kindness, Team Big Bear and Blue Wolf allowed the U.S. Mountain Bike Calendar sideshow to be included in with the 2007 Snowmass Norba National. Georgia Gould continued her perfect season with another strong ride against Luna Chix teammate Katerina Nash and Subaru-Gary Fisher's Heather Irmiger. The win further cemented Gould's dominance of the U.S. Mountain Bike Cross-Country Calendar standings.
In the men's race, Geoff Kabush was able to outsprint a surging Jeremiah Bishop to take the victory, while Adam Craig placed third. Like Gould, Kabush has show complete dominance of the U.S. Mountain Bike Cross-Country Calendar standings.
The Snowmass Norba National was the 24th event on the sideshow calendar series. With five events remaining, the U.S. Mountain Bike Cross-Country Calendar standings are as follows:

GRAVITY CALENDAR
The 2007 U.S. Gravity Calendar also continued last weekend at the Snowmass Norba National in Colorado with the downhill and 4-cross competitions. In the men's downhill race, Justin Leov (NZl, Yeti-Fox) outrode Jared Graves and Cody Warren (Foes) to take the win by three seconds. In another tight downhill competition on the women's side, Melissa Buhl beat out Luna Chix Marla Streb by only two seconds to earn the victory. Lisa Myklak finished third, seven seconds behind Buhl.
In the men's 4-Cross event, Graves held off Dale Holmes (GBr, KHS) and Rich Houseman (Yeti-Fox) for the win. In the women's 4-Cross, Buhl took the victory once again over Caroline Buchannan (Aus, KHS) and Leanna Gerrard (Bare Naked-Cannondale).

MASTER WORLD CHAMP'S UP NEXT
This weekend marks the 2007 Master Mountain Bike World Championships at Praloup Resort in Southeastern France, August 18-19. Master-aged riders 30+ will compete for world titles in men's and women's cross-country and downhill mountain bike competitions.
