Kirk Pacenti, the father of the 650B wheel movement was proud to annouce that the mid-sized wheel (between a 29er and 26-inch format) successfully campaigned at the Mount Snow Nationals. Here's the letter:

I thought you all might be interested to know that the new, yet to be released Pacenti Quasi-Moto 650B x 2.0” tires just scored their first MTB National Title this weekend at Mt. Snow. The tires will be shipping to customers this week and I for one can't imagine a better way to launch a new product than a win at the US Nationals!

Alec Donahue of Spooky Bikes handily won the 30-34 Men’s Expert XC National Title aboard his Quasi-Moto equipped Spooky Darkside hardtail. Alec's victory over the second place came in by a margin of nearly 4 minutes on the rather slippery Mt Snow XC course! Again, congratulations to Alec, Mickey and the whole Spooky Crew!
