Reigning Pro GRT champ and former National Champion, Logan Binggeli (KHS Factory Racing) took the win over reigning National and UCI World Cup champion, Aaron Gwin (Specialized Racing) at the opening round of the 2013 Pro GRT in Boulder City, Nevada. Binggeli used his new KHS 27-inch wheeled downhill bike en route to his win.

Gwin, who was debuting his new bike and gear setup after an offseason of dramatic sponsor changes, missed out on the win by a narrow .16 second margin.

Two-time Mountain Bike Action cover rider, Mikey Sylvestri would grab the third place spot in an impressive ride which saw him just over 2.5 seconds back off of Binggeli's time. The three riders seemed to find another gear over the rest of the field as fourth place, Kyle Sangers, was another five seconds back off of Sylvestri's time.

Binggeli's KHS Factory teammate, Kevin Aiello rounded out the top five.
