Lance Armstrong is now 5-for-6 after entering his fourth off-road event since announcing a comeback. Keeping with the early buildup plan to enter events near home in Texas, Lance’s latest victory was in the elite class at the Rocky Hill Ranch Roundup in Smithville, TX. The Roundup was the final race of the six stop 2008 Texas Fall Cup, put on by the Texas Mountain Bike Racing Association. The seven straight Tour Champion was beat by the incredible Dave Wiens at his first race back, the Leadville 100, but has dominated everything since. If there is a road or mountain race close to home, chances are Lance will be there; up until he joins his Astana road team's training camp, which commences later this month in the Canary Island. At Rocky Hill Lance rode for his bike shop: Mellow Johnny's in Austin, TX.
