The Leadville 100 was a 50 mile out and back race departing at 10,200 feet out of the town
of Leadville, CO. The course is over 90% dirt or double track dirt roads with steep climbs
and serious descents. Riders culminate into the turnabout with a 7 mile climb up to 12,600
feet. The total elevation gain comes to 14,000 feet. In the end 663 riders finished the 2007
