Teacher?s notes: Reynolds 853 steel tubing makes the Jamis ride smoothly where aluminum hardtails will punish you. Tubeless wheels and tires are a sensational upgrade and it handles great. We had trouble setting up the fork and hated the imprecise-shifting SRAM twist shifters. Jamis nearly got this privateer XC racer perfect out of the box. We liked it
