Jamis Bicycles has signed US gravity star Kathy Pruitt for a fifth season. Jamis Bicycle President Carine Joannou made the announcement: “Kathy is one of the most accomplished athletes on the pro mountain bike circuit,” said Joannou. “We know she will be racing Jamis bikes to even more podium finishes this season.”
A former Junior Word Champion, Pruitt has won the USA National Championship three times and raced with the USA World Championship team ten times. Last year, Pruitt distinguished herself on the international circuit with a bronze medal at the World Championships in Australia, a third place finish in the downhill at the Crankworx Mountain Bike Festival in Whistler, and a top 10 finish at the UCI World Cup in Bromont, Canada. She also took second at the USA National Championships in Sol Vista, CO and the US Open of Mountain Biking in Vernon, NJ.
