GRAVITY EAST SERIES RACE #1

Despite the weather and rain, the 2008 Massanutten Yee-Ha was a great event. We want to give a hats-off to the promoters, race organizers, and Massanutten staff for putting on yet another stellar event for the first race of the 2008 Gravity East Series.
All total, 234 racers showed up to test their body and bikes against the once World Cup course at Massanutten Ski Resort. The slick conditions really tested rider's bike handling skills. Fastest time of the day (3:22.66) was put down on the scoreboard by Jurgen Beneke. Beneke ironically raced the Massanutten in 1997 during the World Cup where he got second with a time of 4:28.96.
