We received word that registration for Epic Ride’s 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo is filling up fast, so we posted their newsletter here as a wake-up call for anyone who wants to ride one of the world’s most enjoyable 14-mile loops, surrounded by open desert and thousands of spirited competitors. I love this race. –RC

Snail Mail Registration Now Live The Kona Bikes 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo snail mail registration form is now available. Click here to get your walk to the mailbox set in motion.

On-line Registration - The Ins and Outs

In the last eNewsletter we launched Epic Rides NEW online registration application for the 24 Hour event. This new robust application has many standout benefits guaranteed to ease your registration stress by simplifying your team's registration efforts significantly:

1.      In order to register a team, all you are required to know is your teammate's first and last names and e.mail addresses. The rest of the demographic information will be completed by the individual via our automated registration system (yup, it's that cool).

2.      By registering online, you are no longer required to submit a hard copy of the waiver because each team member is able to click and accept their own individual waiver and release form. Click here to tell us how happy you are about this.

3.      Online registration, facilitated by Paypal, allows you to register via credit card or eCheck; snail mail limits you to check or cash.

The Grocery Shopping Situation

In our continued quest to learn as much as possible about you (without looking inside your kitchen cabinets), we've got this sweet one question survey. Click here here to give it a look-see.

Register and Win - A Set of WTB Tires!

That's right folks; all people who register before November 18th are automatically entered to win a set of WTB Tires...dancer's choice my friend, 26" or 29".

There's only one catch. You have to register & soon! Currently registration is flowing in very fast. Solo filled in record time. At the current rate, it will be much the same for the entire field. We highly recommend registering as soon as possible to assure your spot at Willow Springs Ranch this February!

Why You Need This - Arizona State Land Recreation Permit

If you're going to pre-ride the Kona Bikes 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo course, you need an Arizona State Land Department Recreation Permit. The permit costs $15/person or $20/family annually.

As the Land Dept states on their website, "a recreation permit is required to camp, hike or travel on Trust Land that is designated as open for recreation". Thus, pre-riding the course during non-event related times (not event weekend) all people recreating in the area are required to have a permit.

The up side to the permit is that it's good for an entire year and for more than just the trails at Willow Springs Ranch. It's also handy at trailheads such as the 50-Year Trail, Fantasy Island, Pima & Dynamite and many many more miles of riding.

Click here to learn more and to purchase your permit.

See ya trail side,

The Crew at Epic Rides
