Custom Troy Lee Designs D3 Lids for Semanuk and Zink's Trip to Red Bull Rampage

When you get a custom painted helmet from Troy Lee, you should treasure it. Many riders have the superstition that the helmet should be dropped before it's ridden, so that the first scratch will be innocuous, rather than the result of a crash. These babies are too beautiful for us to even think about scratching them on purpose.

Watch for these to be flipped and spun on the moonscape of Virgin, UT this weekend


Semanuk's lid is simple, but flashy. Gold leaf, plenty of metal flake, and the logo of the company that started it all at the Rampage.



Zink's design is a little more intricate, still with the all important energy drink logo featured front and center.

Zink allegedly has some new limited edition copper Oakley goggles, so TLD opted to throw a little copper in his lid.
