Southern California's Simi Valley is famous for many activities, and the one that every mountain biker should know about is the Corriganville Classic--a fast paced cross-country relay race where team of two trade off laps until the clock runs out--and a short track race that pits men and women in the same event (sexes are scored separately). All classes are represented and the course threads through one of the most storied movie locations in the LA area. Check out the ruins of the underwater filming pit used to film Johnny Weissmuller in Tarzan the Ape Man while you are recovering.
