Clif Bar sent us a Fall celebration in the form of apple flavored Clif Shot Electrolyte replacement drink packets which have a hearty mixture of sodium and some caffeen to keep you spinning near the end of your ride. A realtively new product from Clif Bar is their hot, after-ride recovery drinks--mix the packet's contents into a cup of hot water and drink after a hard effort. You'll be rewarded with a faster recovery and the warm, life-is-good sensation in your abdominal core. We raved about the chocolate flavor and the apple is perfect for those who like a lighter tasting hot drink. Of course, Clif Shot gel packs are the topper-a Gel Apple Pie flavor that goes down like the center of an apple pie (who hasn't stolen a taste of filling before the pie was served?).
