CHIOTTI PLANS TO CONTINUE

LATE BREAKING NEWS!
Three days before the third round of the cross-country World Cup in Houffalize, Belgium this weekend, Giant rider Jerome Chiotti told the French daily newspaper "Lib?tion? that he wants to continue racing. Chiotti, who admitted to using EPO to win his 1996 World Championship (see related story) is still riding for Giant who he signed with before the season started. He also stated in the interview that he is unhappy with the way he has been treated because he had the courage to admit to what he did and hoped other riders would do the same. This all started because he was upset that nobody is of yet taking an active role in cleaning up what appears to be a real drug problem in mountain biking.
At this point in time, Chiotti will be on the start line in Houffalize as a member of team Giant.
