CAN YOU FIND YOUR FAVORITE TRAIL ON A MAP? I

The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) is in the process of designating wheeled motor vehicle routes on the National Forests in California. IMBA California representatives recently met with Forest officials in Vallejo to discuss their route inventory process and ensure it includes mountain bike trails. Riders need to get involved and review the USFS Forest maps. According to the Forest Service, most inventories have been completed, but they assured us its not too late to point out missed trails. You can view the maps online and make comments, so let's get going.
Check it out at: www.fs.fed.us/r5/routedesignation

HOW TO DO IT:
Contact your local Forest Service officials to make corrections to the inventory. Also notify the IMBA California representative nearest you to alert them to your findings. They can assist in the process getting inventory corrections.
