In a move that doesn’t really surprise the industry, after seeing the team race them at the Sea Otter Classic, Cannondale has officially announced that their team will be racing on the Manitou Dorado 180DH downhill fork. The Dorado is arguably one of the best gravity forks, works or otherwise, ever produced. Right now there are only 45 of these forks floating around for the best riders in the world. It’s an inverted design, which features 30mm stanchions, carbon sliders and new Hex-Lok axle. The Dorado is slated for production release in August and should be nearly identical to the works version being ridden now.
