CADEL EVANS OUT WITH A BROKEN COLLARBONE!

Volvo-Cannondale's young phenom Cadel Evans broke his collarbone at the Friday-night street-relay races which kicked off the Napa World Cup racing weekend. During warm-up for the event, Cadel lofted his bike over some half-barrel bumps when the rear end of his bike kicked up, sending him over the bars and to the concrete. Cadel landed on his already injured collarbone and snapped it. In late January, Cadel cracked the same collarbone in a road race crash riding for the Saeco pro road team. This time, he did a little more than crack it. Cadel will be out of action for a few weeks and is scheduled to return to World Cup racing on May 7th in St. Wendel, Germany, after missing the next two rounds.
