"2010 will be a key year and set the future direction of the brand. We are
happy to have a person on board, with a proven record of successes in building brands in the bicycle industry with integrative efforts" says Mike Huerlimann, CEO BMC Trading Company.

"BMC is a brand with a great heritage, swiss roots and a very differentiating style. The Team made already great efforts to bring the brand where it deserves to be, in terms of product, sponsoring and other marketing efforts. Within the next few months we can expect to hear a lot more of exciting news. I am looking forward to be part of that Team," says Schreiner.

Mike Huerlimann about the preview 2010: "Future success of BMC will be based on 3 pillars. First product: BMC will be able to present exciting news in 2010. Second Distribution: we are currently building up own sales organizations in some of our key European markets and in the US in order to be able to be in close contact to our retailers and customer. The third cornerstone is great marketing power: BMC is taking significant investments in Advertising spending as well as sponsoring with the BMC Racing Team. In addition, Frank Schreiner as the new Head of Marketing will bring the strategic mind set to steer the brand in the right

direction."

BMC recently announced the new engagement in Procycling with the BMC Racing Team, a professional road team around world champion Cadel Evans, US champion George Hincapie and former world champion Alessandro Ballan.
