Founders of Boulder, Colorado's, Superior Bike Park, located at the Community Park East/3 Parks site off Rock Creek Parkway, expect to be open for riding Saturday afternoon after a morning of performing finishing touches on the park. Scores of volunteers came out last weekend to help finish construction the courses, which include an advanced flow track, a pump track and a beginner's flow and pump track.

The final preparation day begins at 9 a.m. Saturday March 19th and should finish in time for a Chik-fil-A sponsored lunch at Flatirons for riders who helped out in the morning.

Food, water, tools and restroom facilities will be available. Organizers ask volunteers to wear work clothes and bring an extra flat shovel, if possible. Call the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department at 303-499-3675 with any questions.
