We recently had the opportunity to head down to Murrieta, California to pick up our most recent addition to the wrecking crew's test fleet: The 2012 Turner DHR. So far we've only ridden it around the block, but we look forward to shredding corners on this Downhill race weapon.

The man with the plan: Dave Turner is the mad scientist behind the Turner designs. This bike was built to our specs using Turner's new parts program, where the rider gets to customize their build kit with different wheels, fork, and drivetrain choice.

A privateer's dream: A whole lotta DHR front triangles waiting to be built and put down the race course

The heart of the system: Turner worked closely with Dave Weagle to adapt the dw-Link suspension platform to a downhill race platform.

Component Highlight: One piece of the build kit we're especially excited to get our hands on: the Formula Oval brakes.

Getting his hands dirty: Apparently this is a rare sight, but David Turner knows how to wrench on a bike when he has to. Keep your eyes peeled for full test results of the new DHR.
