My name is Erik Eastland, I live in Bend and for years I’ve wanted to put on a really cool race that was totally laid back but was packed with high profile pro’s, we did it.

Just below Bachelor at Wanoga snow park is where we start, down Funner (DH style) COD to the Lair (Jumping park) hit the road at Tetherow and blaze into downtown Bend to a MTB tavern called 10 Barrel Brewery. The first rider to grab a pint at the outside bar wins and takes home $500 to boot, 2nd $300, 3rd $200.

Carl Decker won our first race with Adam Craig second and a host of Bends finest followed. We did a women’s round as well on Aug 2nd and it was just as cool and we had the same caliber of riders for it as well, Lindsey Vooreis, Tina Brubeck, Alice Pennington and 7 more crazy girlz.

I have a 3rd race planned for late Sept early Oct that will be the Blitz “SHOPS” any and all NW shops send us your ringer employee to determine which shop owns Bend.

I need shops if you can pass the word.

Everyone loves it

Thanks

Erik
