October Moab Mountain Bike Skills Camp A Huge Success!

We just recently finished our five day Moab MTB Skills Camp and wanted to give you an update on all the fun we had.  It was an amazing week of riding with gorgeous weather and fantastic food.  Ten enthusiastic participants from all over the country joined myself, my husband Greg, and our Western Spirit guides for skills clinics, long epic rides, daily massages, evening seminars, and of course lots of laughs.  Here's a quick recap of what we did.

Mad skills

We spent two mornings at City Park learning new skills and polishing the ones we already had.  Everyone learned a ton and came away with confidence and enthusiasm.

Amazing rides

Riders were treated to four days of challenging trails around the Moab area.  We hit some classics as well as Moab's newest singletrack.  Everyone's skills were put to the test, calories were burned, and a lot of laughs were had.

Bike maintenance

Everyone got to sit in on a bike maintenance clinic.  Fixing a broken chain, adjusting derailleurs, changing a flat; all usefull information for trailside emergencies.  We even had a tire changing competition.

Incredible food

Pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup, humus and avocado sandwiches, pesto pasta, grilled salmon, and chocolate fondue were just some of the tasty treats we enjoyed.

Great friendships

We made ten new friends this week and I know we will stay in touch for years to come.  And some have already signed up for next year!
