Vista, CA-April 7, 2003-Haro Bikes has announced today the signing of 2002 Junior Downhill National Champion and 2002 USA Cycling Junior World Championship Team Member Cody Warren to its mountain bike team, for the 2003 racing season.
In addition to his Junior National Downhill Championship title, Cody's 2002 accomplishments include 2 wins and podium-top finishes at all five NORBA National Championship series races as well as wins in both downhill and dual slalom at the 2002 Sea Otter Classic.
"Adding the NORBA National Junior DH Champ to our Mountain Bike program is a Win/Win situation," said Mike King, Haro's Team Director. "Giving Cody Warren the opportunity to develop under Mick Hannah and Greg Minnaar was too easy to pass up. Cody will be learning from the best two DH riders on the planet and we are hoping this will carry him to a winning performance at the World Championships in Lugano, Switzerland in September."
Cody's first appearance for Haro-Lee Dungarees will be at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, CA April 10-13.
