APRIL 8--SAGEBRUSH SAFARI TOP 10 LIST

Beginners and sports raced a giant 17.5 mile figure 8 with 1987' of total elevation gain. The pro and expert group raced that course plus a 7 mile alternate loop that includes the 1350 foot climb up to Mt. Pinos. Total climbing for the elite riders came to 3337 feet. The endurance riders rode two of the main circuits plus one climb up Mt. Pinos. It gave a total distance of 42 miles with 5324 feet of climbing.

The Sagebrush Safari was the first race of the California State Series.
