The East Coast Scott Pro Mountain Bike Team has been around since 2009. With the 2013 USA Cycling National Mountain Bike Championship set for Pennsylvania, two East Coast ProXCT races, and multiple NUE races, the team is poised for a season full of solid competition on the National level. Ten racers strong, the team is preparing for another season of domination on Scott Scale 900 RC and Spark 900 RC race bikes.
After an impressive 33 wins and 93 podiums in 2012, the team is looking forward to 2013. The Pro-level team, comprised of registered pros and top level amateurs has international level talent. Youngsters Nathaniel Williams (20) and Cameron Dodge (22) have represented the US at the Windham World Cup three years running. Cam is set to take over the reins as leader of the Scott Pro Mountain Bike Team in 2013 as its top athlete. Jeff Dickey (37) has experience as a Short-Track National Champion. Dylan Johnson (18) is the definition of an up-and-comer, finishing just outside the top ten against senior elite pros at the Hampshire 100 (NUE). Dylan and Nathaniel, in addition to racing a regular season compete in their respective High School and Collegiate mountain bike series. The remaining members are threats to Mid-Atlantic and New England elite and cat.1 podiums every weekend and include John Arias, Mike Joos, Ross Anderson, Jay Dodge, Nick Sears and Scott Wilson. The team is managed by Bart Passanante, Director Sportif. In addition to racing, the team is heavily committed to trail maintenance, equipment clinics and promoting the sport through ride leadership and mountain bike instruction.
