Alpinestar's 2013 collection features brand new models as well as others with refreshed colors and designs. Their already comprehensive line also welcomes the addition of women's riding apparel and more protective gear. The apparel should be available in shops this fall. Here are some of the highlights:

Drop Jersey and Shorts
The Drop series is for trail riders through and through. We were impressed with the 2012 editions build quality and fit and 2013 doesn't appear to have strayed from that path. The Drop jersey will also be available in a long sleeved version.

As the name implies, this is Alpinestar's lightweight, performance driven riding gear. The Hyperlight line is designed to be more form fitting than their other offerings.

The "Stella" name indicates Aplinestar's women's riding apparel. Aside from the Hyperlight line, they are also offering the Stella Drop series which, like the men's equivalent, is better suited for technical trail missions.

Stratus Glove
It may still be Summer, but the cold season is lurking around the corner. The Stratus Gloves are designed to be warm without being overly bulky.

Comp Pro Short Sleeve Top for BNS
This is one of those products you hope to not put the test. For 2013, Alpinestars is offering their body armor top in a short sleeve option for a big more mobility. Of course, at the expense of protection.
