2009 Shimano Multi-Service® Event Schedule Announced

IRVINE, Calif (May 14, 2009) – With a team of four full-time technicians, nearly 50 years of cumulative professional experience, and a fleet of purpose built vehicles, Shimano Multi-Service will be neutral technical support for more than 35 cycling events across the nation including the USA Cycling National Championships, Ride the Rockies, Mountain States Cup and the National Racing Calendar.

Shimano Multi-Service technicians are well known for providing free professional factory-trained support to world class competitors and weekend recreationalists alike. Shimano’s US-based mechanics are part of a global neutral support team that serves as the Official Technical Support for USA Cycling and the UCI including Pro Tour events like the Giro d’Italia, the Spring Classics and the Vuelta a España.

Shimano Multi-Service staff provides additional cycling industry support by training bicycle shop mechanics at national and regional seminars and providing instruction to the next generation of event mechanics at the Bill Woodul USA Cycling Mechanic’s Clinic. With constant interaction between riders, racers, shops and teams, Shimano Multi-Service plays an instrumental role in product feedback that results in ever improving and innovative products from Shimano.
