Highlights: This bike may be overkill for most trails, but for the Northwest and North Shore, the extra burliness of the bike is totally needed. Also, Transition riders use this bike as their Whistler bike and will log over 50 to 60 days on the mountain--which is like 5 years of stress in one riding season.
Best quote: "Riders not familiar with the feel of a true dual-slalom or dirt-jump bike may find the cockpit a bit cramped compared to an all-mountain bike's. However, these dimensions are necessary for a nimble-cornering and agile jump bike."
Bottom line: It really is best suited for trails with all of the terrain features it was designed to tackle. These are trails that serve to connect jumps and a variety of stunts. We were very happy with its agile geometry, suspension performance and durable build. This bike is not for everyone, but should be at the top of the list if you're an aggressive all-mountain rider with a dirt jumping or street riding background looking for a mountain bike to accentuate your bike handling skills.
