Mary McConneloug (Chilmark, MA/Kenda/Seven Cycles) defended her title of USA Cycling National Champion today in a breathaking finish in the Pro Women's Cross Country final.  McConneloug, who will represent the U.S. at the Beijing Olympics, edged out her Olympic teammate, Georgia Gould (Ketchum, ID/Luna) by less than a wheel.  Adam Craig (Bend, OR/Giant) also repeated as Men's National Champion before heading to Beijing.  McConneloug, Gould, Craig, and Todd Wells (Durango, CO/GT) received their Olympic jerseys in a presentation ceremony today at Mount Snow, Vermont.  Racing continues Sunday.  For a full schedule of the weekend's events, visit www.mountsnow.com/usa_bike.
