Fresh challenge: Joy Martin captured the Expert Women division at the Southridge Challenge SD. The course headed up the current DH and returned down the Cal State course.
 

Face first: The infamous Southridge rock garden caught many SD riders off guard. Brandon Flores' crash was by far the most impressive, although he still won the beginner division.
 

Blink of an eye: How tight is Super D racing? Joe Simpson beat MBA's Eddie Arnet (shown) by a quarter of a second to win the Expert division.
 

Throttle: Wining the Super D by one-and-a-half minutes meant passing riders all the way up and down the course. In mere seconds sport rider Chad Watts will become Eric Bierman's next victim.
