2005 EURO RACE NEWS

The European MTB Championships was held in Kluisbergen, Belgium. The big news was that World Champ Julien Absalon, who dropped out of World Cup competition to focus on defending his title, got beat! While the Euro Champ's is just a buildup to Julien's true peak in four weeks, maybe Peraud, 2004 World Cup #4, is the new contender.

As was to be expected, Gunn-Rita Dahle won the women's division.
