"The best thing about a long winter is the resulting excitement for spring. In Fruita we have had a very white year and right now the enthusiasm for spring and sunshine is at an all time high. In just a couple months we will see the blooming desert and sunny 70-degree days just in time for the 14th Fruita Fat Tire Festival, April 23-26th and the 5th Anniversary 18 Hours of Fruita @ Highline, May 1-2nd. I can't wait!

This 14th Annual "Fest" is being referred to as, "ONE FOUR FUN - One For You". As the one who makes up these "slogans" I felt that this one is fittingly simple and perfectly obvious. This is the year to celebrate all of you who have made this event darn near timeless as it continues to get better year after year. It proves to be a great formula, for a great event to just provide a hub for a bunch of cycling enthusiast to share and express that united enthusiasm for spring and mountain biking. I can't wait to feel the energy of a thousand people gathered together from all over the world in celebration of great Singletrack, perfect sunshine and surrounded by others who share the same passion. It's certainly "for you" and even more so, the Fruita Fest is made up "of you" and all the collective excitement of all of us, riding, basking and partying in celebration of good rides and great livin'.
