Frank Stacy, an independent tire consultant, former professional motocrosser and all-round good guy, recently inked a deal with Bontrager and its parent company, Trek, to design, test and develop tires. Frank has most recently worked under contract with Specialized where he consulted on tire development and worked with their race teams.
While Bontrager has made recent strides in their tire development, the knowledge Frank brings to the table should benefit Bontrager's tire offerings greatly. Bontrager tires are standard equipment on Trek and Fisher bikes as well as sold separately at Trek stores around the world.
