January Issue Now On Sale

(12/1/2009)

Our January 2010 (Happy New Year!) issue is now on sale and here are a few reason you might want to pick it up.

January bike tests hit both ends of the spectrum with the amazing and amazingly expensive Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper FSR Carbon and on the other end, a $900 Trek 6000 (that may surprise you as much as it did us). Tomac, Scott and a cool little custom brand called Justice Madison are in there too.

Tech wise there is a cool feature on how two-ring cranks are changing the face of mountain bike drivetrains and a review of one of those cranks, the FSA Afterburner 386.

Downhill guys will want to check out the Obtainium Spring review in Thrash Tests. The spring was awesome, but the bearing system it works on might be the coolest performance trick of 2010.

We have special coverage of the Interbike you didn't see and great photos by Victor Lucas from the 2009 Worlds.

Finally, Aaron Bradford, the guy who came out of nowhere to win the 2009 Super D National Championship, offers up some riding and equipment tips that will work for you even if you never plan to enter a race.
